WWAA respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Your name, email address and, if you give it to us, your phone number.
Your answers to short questions in our forms (for example, whether you are looking to buy, already own a property or are a property professional).
Property details you send us for a feasibility study, such as a listing, address, plans, survey or planning certificate.
Messages you send us by email, through our website or through social media.
When you complete a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta Platforms also gives us basic technical details about the submission (such as the ad and form you used).
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you fill in a form on Facebook, Instagram or our website, email us, call us or engage us. We receive the details you enter in Meta lead forms from Meta Platforms, Inc.
Why we use it
To send you the guide or other material you asked for.
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote or carry out a feasibility study or design service you have engaged us for.
To send you occasional WWAA Knowledge updates by email, but only if you have ticked the box asking for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by emailing us.
To understand which topics our readers are interested in, so we can improve what we publish.
To meet our legal and professional obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the above.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers we use to run our practice, and only as far as they need it to do so:
Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram lead forms and advertising)
Dropbox (file delivery and storage)
Our email and website providers (currently Google and Wix)
Consultants such as surveyors or planners, only when you ask us to engage them for your property
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Lead-form details are downloaded from Meta into our business systems and are deleted from our records when we no longer need them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing mail@wwaa.au. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Advertising and cookies
Facebook and Instagram ads and lead forms are provided by Meta and are subject to Meta's own privacy policy. Our website is hosted by Wix and may use cookies for basic analytics.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
